Happy Holiday's & What To Expect In December

I can hardly believe that the Holiday Season is already upon us. Where did this year go? Well good thing it has gone quickly for most of us. 2010 was a transitional year, a time for us to close some major doors in our lives so that new doors of opportunity open for us in the new year of 2011. Now with the planet Mercury going into Retrograde from December 10 until the 31st the year is bound to go out with a bang.
We must take advantage of this retrograde as far as dealing with unfinished business. I'm including an article to help you all to understand the effects the retrograde brings and what we can do to help bear through the retrograde. With this being a big influence in December you will find that this month will be a bit hard keeping up with. It will seem as if there is no time for yourself and a sense of falling behind. When this happens we must keep in mind that the stress can highly effect the immune system and end up leaving you bedridden with a cold or the flu.
The warm weather seemed to hang in there late this year. I picked fresh broccoli from my garden in November. That just does not happen in Pennsylvania. You lucky if it makes it past September. December the cold will come in hard bring along with it high winds, freak wind gusts and snow and ice storms. As I said in my 2010 predictions winter is going to hit area's that area not use to the cold weather. In turn having an effect on farmers and their crops, including oranges.
One bit of advice I would give you for December is to be sure and keep your immune system up to par. Take multi-vitamins every night before bed and vitamin C. Remember to wash your hangs frequently in December and keep those germs to yourself. If your sick take it as a sign and please stay home, get lots of rest, and drink lots of tea and eat lots of soup.
When you find yourself falling behind make yourself a list because December can be a forgetful month. You will find yourself overwhelmed and forgetting to do things. Stop, take a deep breath and just make a list. You will get to it eventually. Use December to catch up as much as you can and by the end of the month when the winter solstice comes in take a little time off. Spend time with those you love and think about all the wonderful things life has to offer and how grateful you are for those you love. Remember, it will get better and 2011 will be a fabulous year.
Other then that December will all in all be a relatively good month. I give it four out of five stars. It will also be a good month to reflect on your life and rediscover your dreams and finally move forward to open great doors of opportunity in 2011. Once you find your focus, realize your dreams, focus on those dreams and get out there and make those dreams come true. For were about to enter into a whole new time in our lives, a time for renewal, a time for understanding and a time to open spiritually.
One other thing that could benefit many this month is to reach out to a friend or family member that you have not talked to in some time. Maybe someone that you may have disagreed with or just got disconnected from for some time. Put the past behind you and remember the good memories that person has brought to your life and make this season a season to reconcile our in-differences and start all over. Understand that we are all different and that is what makes us all unique in our own way. Learn to accept them for who they are and learn to love and be loved.
I would like to thank you all for all the love & support you have given me over the years. I look forward to continuing this spiritual journey with you all. I hope you all have the most wonderful holiday season ever. May your new year be filled with love, light, happiness and good health.

November 2010 Message - What To Expect This Month

November Message From My Monthly Newsletter

It is almost hard to believe that in less then 8 weeks we will enter into the year 2011. 2010 has turned out to be quite the difficult year for everyone. Those who say it has not been a struggle this year is probably just convincing themselves. 2010 is a transitional year and we humans seem to struggle quite a bit during transitions and change. We experience both transitional years and our own personal transitions. Transitional years occur usually every ten years, so the next one will be in 2020. As for our personal transitions, we experience those about every seven to eight years in our lives. So in 2010 I find that many people are experiencing a double whammy with both a transitional year and personal transition, which makes it far more difficult to get through.

Transitions are times for us to take advantage of making change by first cleaning up the clutter in our lives. A time for clearing away the old to make way for the new. Not just the clutter in our lives, like bad relationships, or friendships, but also the clutter that surrounds us in ours homes and work place. It is very important for us to focus on cleaning up the clutter so that when the transition comes to a close new doors of opportunity will begin to open. Believe it or not the cluttering of things within our own home and work place, even dust and dirt, can deeply effect the positive flow of things in our personal lives. At first you may think this thought may be a little bit crazy but it really is fact.

In Feng Shui it is believed that certain area's of our homes or office represent different aspects of our lives like, health, finances, career and love. So when these area's become cluttered so will that area of our life. So it pays to go through your home and office with a fine toothpick cleaning things up and re-organizing everything. It will also make us feel better about ourselves and our surroundings. So before this year comes to a close we should take a close look at our lives, homes and office to decide what things we need to clean up. There is not much time to do so before the year comes to a close so take some time later today and begin a list to help remind you what needs to be done. Making a list for yourself is setting your self up for assured success.

November should begin to feel a little bit better then the past few months have. It is almost like the quiet before the storm. The first two weeks of the month will flow rather well with just enough time for ourselves to relax and get some of that clutter cleaned up. Do it now when you have the time before December comes and you find that there is just no time even for yourself. Be sure to get yourself some vitamins and keep your immune system up to par. A little exercise can be very helpful to, especially in November. For once December comes into play our schedules will be overwhelmed and our immune systems can tend to give out. Therefore we end up very sick and exhausted in turn making us pretty miserable with absolutely no energy to do anything.

November is a great month to focus on this cleaning up and focus on healthier eating & healthier lifestyle. Many will try to wait to January and the new year to do so but November is the best time to do so to ensure success. Finances may pick up a bit for many of you in November. Stick that extra money aside for you will be needing it rather badly when the second week of December comes around. All together November should be a rather good month for everyone as long as we go with the flow and listen to Spirits advice. Remember the simple things that pop up into your mind are most commonly your Spirit Guides trying to tell you something. Spirit would never steer us in the wrong direction.

In area's of romance in November this can only go one way or another. November should be a month for us to look at the good things our relationships have to offer and what you both can do to make it even better. We should not bring our work home with us and spend a little more time with our partner/spouse & family. For those who are single November can be a great time for a new romance. It will also be a good month for us to break the ice with an old friend or family member. A time to reconcile things so that things can go back to normal once again. Failure to do any of this will just lead us into the opposite direction. In turn causing even more arguments, separation and possibly a complete end to that relationship or friendship. And if it is going in a negative direction we must look at it as a positive thing and most likely some of the clutter that we needed to clean up.

Together focus on the good and more good shall come. Remember that every thought we think or say goes out into the universe and returns to us ten fold. So it does not pay to think negatively for we are only setting ourselves up for failure. We can create our own future simply by just taking a few minutes out of each day to visualize with our minds eye where we would like to see ourselves in the future. If you picture it, it shall come. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a great November.

Cleopatra Exhibit In Philadelphia

Ever since I was a kid I had a strong pull toward Egypt. Even to the current day I'm still a bit obsessed with Ancient Egyptian cultures, beliefs, architecture and so on. I'm fortunate enough to actually own a few ancient Egyptian artifacts & continue my search for new ones to add to my collection. After learning hypnosis and having experienced past life regression it has become very clear to me as to why I have this pull to Egypt. I lived there several times in several of my past lives. I was beheaded in one of those lives and a pharaoh in another. I find that any time we are pulled to a specific time era or culture it is most likely because we have lived it all before in a previous life.

Beings I'm so obsessed with Egypt & its culture anytime I get the opportunity to see anything from ancient Egypt I jump right on the opportunity. When the King Tut Exhibit was in Philadelphia we were sure to visit. When I heard about the new Cleopatra Exhibit in Philly I knew without a doubt that we would be going soon. Last week Bob gave me a birthday present that included a day at the Franklin Institute and the Cleopatra Exhibit. I was so excited when I found out we were going. Also when I first heard about the exhibit I became excited because I knew exactly what they were going to have on exhibit. I watch every show I can about Egypt and the current exhibitions that are currently going on.

There was one show in particular that really caught my attention. It was all about how an archeologist had found the lost temples of Cleopatra. What made this a bit funny for me is the fact that I have been saying for years that there is so many artifacts and knowledge buried in the waters surrounding Egypt. This is exactly how the archeologist discovered the lost temples of Cleopatra. They show the archeologist making the discovery and pulling some of the artifacts out of the salty waters after thousands of years. No words can explain how amazing these artifacts are and the fact that many have been in the waters for thousands of years and are still in perfect condition.

So our day began by crawling out of bed a bit earlier then I prefer on a Monday, one of my days off from work. We headed out to Philadelphiaa and arrived at the fun & exciting Franklin Institute (Shown in the first picture above). I love the Franklin Institute and still can remember our 5th grade trip the the institute when I was in elementary school.

Part of the institute is has been transformed to fit in the new Cleopatra Exhibit. The Franklin is fortunate enough to be the first ones to show the Cleopatra Exhibit on her world tour. Beings Bob already purchased our tickets we just had to show them in the front to get into the exhibit. Also, keep in mind if you decide to visit the exhibit you have to pick an exact time slot that you want to enter the exhibit. I believe our time was around 12:20pm.

When you enter the exhibit you are directed to a room in which everyone gathers, sits, and enjoys a short video presentation of the exhibit. Then the doors open and you enter into the exhibit greeted by an amazing statue of Cleopatra (In the second picture above).

Then you walk a pathway with clear glass under your feet along with dozens of different sized vessels, jugs and some amazingly in tact pieces of pottery. An amazing site in itself. While walking through you must keep in mind that all these items have been hiding in the dark sea for thousands of years now. So to see these artifacts in such perfect condition some as if they were almost new or freshly made. Then you go from one room to another room each special in it own right.

After walking over all the old jugs and vessels you enter a room with some other amazing water vessels and cookware including a solid copper cauldron in perfect condition pictured above in picture 4. One would thing that beings many of these artifacts are made of metals such as copper, bronze, gold & silver that at least the copper would have deteriorated throughout the centuries.

I don't want to ruin the experience for anyone so I'm not going to tell you much more then this. Although, I really would like to share some of my favorite pieces from the Expo. One of my favorites are the two very large statues, about 30 feet high, of my two favorite Egyptian Deities, Isis & Osiris, shown in picture five above on the right. Another piece I thought was truly amazing was a set of three rings shown in picture 6. The details of the one ring and the carved out stone looks as if it is brand new. There was gold everywhere throughout the exhibit including a gold coin used as money in ancient Egypt. You can still see the bird carved into the gold in picture 7. There is even a document they found beneath the sea written on papyrus that was said to be signed by Cleopatra herself. This document is in picture 8. Be sure to click on the pictures here in my blog to make them larger so you can see them more in detail.

Another favorite piece of mine was the statue you see in the picture on your top right. We could not believe how much precision was in this statue. The details looked as if it was produced by a machine rather then hand carved by a stone carver. There are dozens upon dozens of beautiful pieces throughout the exhibit. I believe at had taken about an hour and a half to walk through.

We also purchased the tickets to see the film Mummies going to the exhibit. Mummies runs for in the planetarium. This is what I believe a must see if your maybe an hour or so on a screen that is so big it makes it feel 3D. So if your planning on hitting the exhibit when it comes to your neck of woods go see the documentary Mummies. You can take pictures with your cell phone only. They won't let you use camera's, which make no sense at all. Even still we had taken some great pictures with our phones. Thank you for taking time to read my blog & I hope you enjoyed my journey into the Cleopatra Exhibit. With Love, Light & Desire To Inspire.......Joseph
