Sunday's Sold Out Event

This past Sunday I conducted an event at the Sheraton for more then 100 people. At first the event started off on a bad note. When we showed up at the Sheraton we were surprised to find that nothing was set up for our arrival. Well I can't say nothing was done, the chairs were there. There were no tables, a stage up front that we did not want there and no microphones. This put us all in a little frenzy for the first half hour.

After all that you would think Mercury was still in retrograde. Here the Sheraton had us scheduled for 7 PM instead of 2 PM. Well Bob, Pam, Tracy and Carol all pulled together and got everything done. We were 15 minutes behind schedule because we needed to wait for the microphones. This put me in a little panic thinking that things may not go so smoothly.

The event began with an introduction with Bob before my introduction. I spoke a little about my work and a bit about ghosts and haunting's. Then I answered a few audience members questions before guiding everyone through a quick meditation. Then I went on to bring through messages from the other side.

My first connection was a very strong and a bit surprising for me. Usually I have a male energy come through first, I have no idea why. Well this mother figure was not going to allow that. She had a strong message for both her son and daughter who were sitting in the audience. Every time I thought that she was finished coming through, boom, another message.

We took a 15 minute break about half way through and I signed some books during this time. Once we got started again I instantly made a new connection. There were many connections during this event on Sunday. There were a few that stick out to me like my first connection with the mother figure. A police officer on the other side was determined to get the attention of a police officer in the audience. I kept getting the information, but no one in the audience would acknowledge the connection.

After a few minutes a man in the back of the room wearing a hat stood up and acknowledged everything I was saying. The connection I was having with the police officer on the other side was very strong. I could literally see at least a dozen spirits standing behind this guy. At one point I gave the man a message and he persistently said no. There was another point where he said "That information is not correct". I knew the information I was receiving was completely accurate. I understand that the messages are very overwhelming for the people I go to in the audience. Many of the things that come through may not hit the person right away and that is OK.

Someone called into the radio show today and mentioned the gentlemen and said he had a bit of an attitude. He may have come off that way to some, but I think it was that he had a very strong presence. We actually received a very nice email from the gentlemen. He mentioned in the email that he realized several of the messages after leaving the event. All together he said it was a good experience and was very thankful. It is so common for me to see clients who do not get all of the messages or that tell me "No, it means nothing." It is really never a big surprise to me. Sometimes spirit does not want you to get it until later. There are also a lot of emotions involved in these messages and those emotions can interfere with the persons thoughts.

The next connection was about to turn a complete skeptic into a believer. I think the very first thing I said was I have a brother who passed and he is trying to get to his brother. I think this gentlemen had a very hard time raising his hand. Finally he stood up and I could clearly see his deceased brother standing behind him. When I see the spirit standing behind the person, I know the connection will be strong. This guys brother was determined to let him know that he was at peace and still a big part of his life.

When I clearly see the spirit I feel that I need to describe them. This brother figure was coming through very much like a hippie with a guitar, long hair and a bandanna. When I mentioned to the gentlemen that his brother was wearing a bandanna it certainly struck a note, so did the guitar. He told the audience that his brother played guitar and he had placed a bandanna in his brothers casket during the funeral. This guy did not say no to me once. He knew exactly what everything I was telling him meant, dates and all. Not bad for a skeptic. The messages were so intense that they brought the man to tears. I could see the fulfillment in his eyes and sensed how comforting it was for him to hear from his deceased brother.

This was certainly an excellent event. Sometimes I don't think people know how fulfilling this work is for myself. I am so great full to have the ability to share this special gift with you. Sometimes when I sit and think about some of the messages and how touching they are, it brings a tear to my eye. Like today when Joanne called into the radio show to talk about her experience and how it changed her entire life. Such a comforting message to hear from her, thank you. This allows me the comfort of knowing I'm doing the work God has sent me here to accomplish. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and thank you for allowing me to share my gift with you.

Good Psychics, Bad Psychics, & Copyright Infringement

I'm sitting here getting ready to blog and listening to the news in the background. Then I happen to catch this big story about the largest beef recall in history. I talked about this as one of my 2008 predictions during my new years day radio show. It is also listed in the archives of this blog in my list of 2008 predictions. You can listen to the live predictions I made on the new years radio show by visiting my web site. I thought I would mention that before going on to other subjects in today's blog.

Beings I'm on the subject of 2008 predictions I have to share something that many of you will find more then just interesting. This morning I received several emails from people who felt they needed to point something out to me, and I'm glad they did. It has come to my attention that someone had taken most of the predictions I listed on this site January 4 and placed them on their site, claiming that they were their own 2008 predictions. At first I thought "no way", who would be that stupid?

There are so many psychics that make predictions for the coming year and it is very common for psychics to come up with similar predictions. If you are a psychic or even a medium, you are tuning into the same future. That is why when I first heard about this woman posting my predictions I figured it was no big deal. When I went onto her site I was absolutely blown away. Hey I know you are suppose to be a psychic, but come on already. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first and easily came to the conclusion that they are actually my predictions with a little touch to try and make it look like hers.

Early in the year I blogged about how people copy others and sometimes it is flattering and other times it is just not right. After writing that blog entry I figured I was without a doubt going to face this again in my future. Again it is flattering to a certain extent, but this lady went a little to far. If you read the predictions on her site (posted on February 10, 2008) in comparison to the predictions listed on this blog (posted on January 4, 2008), you will clearly see that they were copied.

The predictions are in the same exact order with dates and all. She starts hers off saying she sees her predictions in the form of headlines, the same way I begin my list. Yes her predictions were altered a little bit, but it is obvious where the predictions came from. Another thing that struck my attention was the fact that she lives in the same state and county as I do, interesting. I have a tracker on my web site that allows me to view how many hits my sites receive and where they are from. I noticed that there were many hits from the same ip address in Chalfont where she just so happens to live.

There was also a newspaper article I came across mentioning this psychics predictions for 2008. Its funny that her presidential predictions she gave to the newspaper are completely opposite from the ones she listed on her site February 10th. There was also her prediction in the news article that this would be a great year for Brittany Spears, boy was that a bad call. She also offers an online magazine where she posts predictions monthly, if you are willing to pay twenty five bucks for something she probably steals from someone else. You can also join her online community and talk to others, that will cost you eleven buck's. Why would you pay to join her community when you can join James Van Praagh's community for free. His community offers so much more with chat rooms, bulletin boards and more. Check it out, I'm a member and it is free.

I know I'm sure to get a few negative emails from people who think writing about this is wrong. That happened last week when I posted my feelings on appreciation and how some people need to learn to appreciate things in our lives. I'm sorry but I feel that it is wrong to take things from others and then claim that their are your own. I also feel that it is important to point these things out to others who are looking to go to a psychic. There are many truly gifted psychics and mediums out there helping people every day, and there are those that are only there to help themselves by ripping people off.

How to tell a bad psychic or medium from a good one?

One of the number one things to avoid is psychics with store fronts and neon signs. You know the ones I'm talking about, you find them on the boardwalk and tourist areas.

Avoid psychics who try to get you to buy something. Some may tell you that there is bad spirits around you and charge you to burn candles or something similar to that. This is an obvious scam artist and they can usually be found working in a store front or a neon sign in their house window, where they work from.

Avoid psychics and mediums that offer an odd menu of services. An example would be a psychic who offers palm readings, cards readings, esp readings and crystal ball readings.

You should never pay more then the price the psychic has posted.

The key is word of mouth. Go to a psychic or medium that has a good reputation. Someone that a friend may recommend.

Do a little research on the psychic first, google their name and do a little reading reading up on them.

Look for psychics and mediums that have a good resume, so to speak. One who has done radio and maybe was in the newspapers.

You can also check out James Van Praagh's recommended list. James personally tests the psychics and mediums listed on his site. Locally there are only two mediums that I would recommend. One is Elizabeth Harrington, who is listed on James Van Praagh's web site. She is not real close to where I live, but she is in Pennsylvania. Please, do not mix her up with the other Elizabeth in Pennsylvania. The other medium, Marisa Pell, who I have worked with in the past and even had a reading done by her. She is not in Pennsylvania, but is not too far. She is in New Jersey and is also a good medium.

Other then the two, I really don't know any others that I have had a reading with. Honestly, I do not go to mediums. Thats what I do, so there is no need to go see one. There was this woman Carol in Levittown that I went to for card readings and she was excellent. I just bought a new car and went to her and she said I was getting a new car. I told her I just got one and she said there was going to be another. A few weeks later I was in a car accident and guess what? I had to get a new car. I'm not sure if Carol is even reading any more.

I hope that today's blog has been an inspiration. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read today's entry.
Blessings
Joseph

Ghost Hauntings, Flanders Hotel Ghost Tour & Other Events

When I was in my teens friends would drag me to places that we said to be haunted. My friends knew that I had the ability to see and feel spirits so it made for an fun Friday evening. After a few wild experiences during our ghost hunts I began dragging my friends to haunted places and cemeteries instead of them dragging me. While I'm writing this I have to laugh at some of the things that I remember sent some of my friends running scared.

Still to this day I enjoy going to places that are said to be haunted. There have been dozens of investigations I conducted over the years. If there is a presence of a spirit I'm usually able to communicate with them and find out who they are. The owners of a few homes I investigated later researched the information I gave them and found it to be correct.

One home I visited had several spirits running around. Immediately I picked up on a fire that killed two young children. I told the owners that this was once a farm and there was another home on the property which burned, killing the two children. The owners said there was never a fire and no other homes on the property. This struck up some curiosity from the owner and he began to explore his property a little more thoroughly. By this time his property was a pretty de
nse wooded area, no more clear farm land. The owner stumble upon the foundation of an old home that must have burned down. He also researched some of the other information I gave him and found it to be true.

Last summer I had the opportunity to investigate the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. I'm
excited that next month I will have the opportunity to investigate the Flanders Hotel in Ocean City New Jersey. Honestly I know nothing about this quaint Hotel except for two facts. It is said to be haunted and also has underground catacombs where ghost are said to linger. The great thing about this tour is that people can be a part of the experience with me. Something I have not yet done.

This event will take place on Monday March 10 at the Flanders Hotel beginning with a live radio broadcast interview at 4 PM. Then we will all head to dinner in the hotel. After dinner there will be a two hour event where I will discuss my abilities with communicating with the deceased and reunite some audience members with their deceased loved ones. This event will end with a book signing and then the group will head down into the catacombs to look for some ghosts.
This event is available as a package deal including all of the above, overnight stay at the
Flanders hotel and breakfast before we set off for home Tuesday.
The full package is available through the Flanders Hotel for $225.00 per person. There are also other packages available for those who want to attend just the events. You may visit The Flanders Hotel web site or my events web site for more information. Space is limited.

Next weekend is my event at the Buck's County Sheraton in Langhorne, PA. This event is three hours long and also will be followed by a book signing. Space is limited to 100 seats and there are less then 20 tickets available. Tickets are $45.00 in advance and $55.00 at the door if the event is not sold out. The March 16 event at Ashes To Ashes in Bordentown New Jersey is Sold Out. I will also be in New York at the Learning Annex in April. More information will be available on their web site. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

Appreciation For The Messages

The Mercury retrograde is certainly having an effect in most peoples lives right now, including my own. Mercury seems to always have a hard effect on Virgos, and I'm a Virgo on the cusp of Libra. This round the planet Mercury will also have a big effect on Aquarius. I always try and keep my head straight and know Mercury is having a fun time screwing up things in our life. It is almost over and the retrograde will come to a close on February 19th, but Mercury will have an effect until March 10th. Mercury will enter into retrograde with Gemini on May 26, 2008.

Over the past few weeks I have been very busy with clients and events. During this time I have come to learn how much some people have little or no appreciation for the messages they receive from their deceased loved ones. Not only do some people have no appreciation for the messages, they have no appreciation for life or the things in their life. It is very important to appreciate the things we have, the experiences and the people in our lives. It completely blows my mind that some people can be so ignorant to the entire concept. It is even more mind boggling when people come to see me and get upset when they hear from a deceased loved one that they don't want to hear from. It is such a gift for me to offer people a connection with a deceased loved one. How often do we get the opportunity to receive a message from a deceased loved one? I have no control over who or what comes through. They come to me, usually to resolve issues with their passing or just to bring some validation and closure.

There were several experiences I had over the past few weeks that I would like to share with you. I have changed some things to hide the identities of my clients. First was a private gallery I conducted one evening for about a dozen people. The entire experience was not that of a positive experience for myself. My connections with the deceased were extremely strong and the messages very specific and accurate. The problem was not at all with my connections with the deceased, but more the ignorance of a few of the people who attended the gallery. Once I make a connection it is of the utmost importance that I'm not interrupted or the connection will be broken. Then it takes a lot of energy for me to make that connection again, and it may not be with the same previous connection.

Well one person that attended the event believed every single thing that I said was all about them. This person continued to interrupt the group to the point that I had to nicely say something to them. Sometimes I see the spirit that I'm connected to right behind the person whom they are trying to get a message to. When I see that I know the information is for that person. After explaining this the the person, they just wouldn't get it. On top of that we didn't get started on time because the hostess had two screaming little kids to tend to. The kids interrupted at least two times during the two hour gallery and two cell phones went off during the event after I asked everyone to turn off their phones. Then to really top of my evening, they were all drinking alcohol.

I'm sorry, but I take my work very seriously. You should not serve alcohol prior to a private gallery and there should be no interruptions and no children in the home at all. I almost walked out from this gallery but I knew I needed to get important messages across to this group. One of those messages was from the son of the person who would not keep quite during the gallery. When someone finally came through for them, they would not keep their mouth closed and listen to the messages from their son. I was blown away by the entire evening and could not believe that someone would hire me to come to their home and show no appreciation what so ever. What really bothers me is the fact that there were several young spirits that came to me that evening. All of their deaths were very tragic and the messages very important. I walked out feeling that not all of the messages were delivered and I had no control over the situation.

There was another client that came to me the other day that was rather frustrating. The person came with a few items that belonged to deceased relatives. I ask my clients to bring one article or item that belonged to the deceased person to help me connect with their energy. It is not a guarantee that I will connect to that person, especially if you bring items from five different people. The person brought along several items. My first and strongest connection was with the persons mother. Very detailed information came through from their mother about her passing and things that happened right after she passed. My client kept asking me, is there someone else? Is there messages from someone else? I explained that the messages could pertain to several deceased loved ones.

The reading ended and I felt the connection was very strong and my client would appreciate the validations that came through from their mother. My client turned to me and said "What about the slipper? Can you tell me something about that?" I was not getting anything at all with the slipper. I recalled that the mother mentioned one of the items in my hand and told her about that message. She replied "Yes the other item was my mothers but I really did not want to hear from her. I wanted to hear from the person connected to the slipper." That completely blew my mind. She brought one of her mothers belongings, but did not want to hear from her. She walked away upset that she did not her from the other person with absolutely no appreciation for the messages she did receive from her mother.

I have come to appreciate everything in my life, especially this gift God has given me to help others. I thank god several times a day for the things I have and the people I love. From all of this I hope that you have learned that we all need to appreciate all the things life has to offer us.

We all go through bad things and deal with nasty negative people. We need to smile, wish them the best and move on, never looking back. When we buy something we should appreciate that and our ability to have the money to make that purchase. The more you acknowledge the positive things in your life and come to appreciate them, the more positive things that will come into your life in the future.

Keep your head straight, think positive, forget about the negative and your future will be bright.

Thank you for reading my blog, I hope it has been an inspiration.
